El Paso Grill and Bar-B-Que and Glimcher Ventures Southwest have entered a partnership that gives exposure to the fast-casual eatery while creating a top tenant in the developer's new retail projects, company executives said. Glimcher took a minority ownership position in the restaurant company as part of the deal.


$100M Baseline Marketplace planned for Mesa

A large $100 million mixed-use development, including retail shops, restaurants, office space and 350 residential units, is set to break ground in east Mesa in early 2008. The planned Baseline Marketplace, at the northwest corner of Loop 202 and Baseline Road will occupy 52-acres. The Scottsdale-based developer, Glimcher Ventures Southwest, expects to finish construction in 2009.

Glimcher Ventures Southwest has announced that it has secured leases from five restaurants and one shop for Thunderbird Marketplace, a new development on the southwestern corner of Interstate 17 and Thunderbird Road. The new businesses are Jamba Juice, Port of Subs, the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Rosati's Pizza, Chicago Gyro and Sleep Savvy.
