$100M Baseline Marketplace planned for Mesa
A large $100 million mixed-use development, including retail shops, restaurants, office space and 350 residential units, is set to break ground in east Mesa in early 2008. The planned Baseline Marketplace, at the northwest corner of Loop 202 and Baseline Road will occupy 52-acres. The Scottsdale-based developer, Glimcher Ventures Southwest, expects to finish
construction in 2009.

Thunderbird Marketplace, a new development on the southwestern corner of Interstate 17 and Thunderbird
Road. The new businesses are Jamba Juice, Port of Subs, the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Rosati's Pizza,
Chicago Gyro and Sleep Savvy.
